On the 20th and 21st of November 2024, PD Dr. Rachel Sommer attended a great symposium to foster interdisciplinary collaboration in public health research organised by the German Ministry for Education and Research (BMBF) for its junior research groups. Lectures by external speakers, discussions and group work on topics as diverse as science communication, implementation research, and patient and public involvement provided important impulses and offered a fantastic opportunity to network across disciplines.
We are grateful not only for the BMBF funding, which provides essential support for our research group, but also for the privilege of attending such inspiring events as part of the funding programme.
