The DDA certificate "Atopic Dermatitis" certifies comprehensive special knowledge in diagnostics, therapy and the special care characteristics of atopic dermatitis, which go beyond the generally accepted dermatological standard. Since there are constant innovations in the filed of atopic dermatitis that require the acquisition of new knowledge, the validity of the certificate is limited to 5 years. After that, the certificate must be renewed.
The acquisition of the certificate requires basic knowledge in the scope of the scpecialist knowledge "Dermatology" or the official recognition as a specialist dermatologist. However, the qualification certificate and the attendance of the curriculum can already take place during the training period to become a specialist in dermatology and venereology.
The curriculum is based on the respective valid national and international guidelines.
